축약 Contractions
축약은 두 단어를 하나처럼 간략히 나타내는 것을 의미한다. 대표적인 축약은 아래와 같다.
1. 주어 + 조동사(be동사)
ex) we'd = we would
ex) she's = she has
ex) I am a social worker = I'm a social worker
2. 조동사(be동사) + not
ex) shouldn't = should not
ex) haven't = have not
ex) am not = ain't
ex) is not = ain't
ex) are not = ain't
